How do you clean dirty suede shoes?
Especially that toe area (on open-toe heels) that gets dirty feet prints?
I have a couple pairs of shoes that are gorgeous but desperately need cleaning and I’m scared to do anything and ruin the suede,
Please help!
There’s a special eraser that’s sold at shoe stores in the mall (stores like Finish Line) that is used to clean suede and nubuck shoes..
The eraser crumbles as you use it, so it doesn’t harm the shoe

You can buy suede cleaner. I bought some at DSW yesterday.

Believe it or not, ivory soap and a toothbrush. Gently rub the soap onto the shoe with a wet washcloth. Then use another wash cloth with only water to get all of the soap out. Then after the shoes dry, use a suede brush to brush the nap back up to it’s original condition.
When I found this out back in the 70′s I felt like I had struck gold, after spending a fortune taking suede shoes to the shoe repair for cleaning,
Good Luck!
